George Stathakis is a Member of the Greek Parliament with SYRIZA he is elected in Chania, Crete. He holds a Degree on economics (Athens) as well as a M.A. (econ) and a Ph.D (econ) from the University of Newcastle.
Since 1988 he is a Professor of Political Economy, Department of Economics, University of Crete.
His research activity entails experience in the Center for European Studies, Harvard University, Center for Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies, Queens College, City University of New York, Institute of Computing Technology, Patras and Mediterranean Studies Foundation.

EuropeanIssuers aims to ensure that companies’ views are heard as users of capital markets on company law, corporate governance and capital market regulation.
Before her appointment to EuropeanIssuers, she was an adviser to the UK Financial Reporting Council, dealing with the Walker Review of bank corporate governance and the UK Stewardship Code for institutional investors.
She has also worked for Fidelity International, a major international asset management firm, the CBI (Confederation of British Industry) and Clifford Chance, a leading City law firm.
He is working for the European Commission since 1994. Head of unit in the Directorate General for economic and financial affairs.
In this capacity, he has notably drafted and negotiated the creation of the various European sovereign firewalls (ESM, EFSM, EFSF), created a macro-prudential supervision (ESRB) and was directly involved in the preparation of all the texts establishing a European Banking union (single supervisory mechanism, single resolution mechanism…).
He is currently in charge of the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI). He is a former member of the private offices of the Commissioners for economic and monetary affairs Yves-Thibault de Silguy (Santer Commission), Pedro Solbes (Prodi Commission) and Joaquin Almunia (first Barroso Commission). He is graduated from HEC Paris (specialization in finance), Sciences-Po Paris (specialization in economics) and has a master in political science and a PHD in law. He has written numerous books and articles on EMU and EU affairs.
He is currently President of the Central Union of Greek Chambers of Commerce (UHC) and of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).
Born in 1960, studied Finance and Political Science at the University of Essex in United Kingdom, and pursued postgraduate studies on financial applications at the London School of Economics & Political Science (MSC).
Since 1988 he has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SWAN SA, an industrial exporting company based in Krioneri, Attica, specializing in the production of natural latex products. From 1993 to 2005 he was an elected member of the board of ACCI. From 1998 to 2002 he was Treasurer of the ACCI.
In 2002 he was elected in the Board of Directors of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development, in 2004 he was appointed as the Chamber’s Vice-Chairman, while in 2003 he was elected President of the Association of North Attica Region Enterprises.
In the period 2004-2005 he served as Senior Adviser at the Ministry of Development. From 2005 to 2006 he was the Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy & Finance. He has also been member of the Boards of Directors of the Greek Telecommunications Organization and the Greek Public Power Corporation.
Constantine Michalos is married with four children, and speaks English and French.

Socrates Lazaridis is CEO of the Athens Exchange Group. He is member of the Board of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, Chairman of the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council and member of the Board of the American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.
He joined the Athens Exchange Group in 1994 and held several positions at the Central Securities Depository, the “Systems Development and Support of Capital Market” and the Athens Exchange, while he served as member of the Board at Athens Derivatives Exchange and the Athens Derivatives Exchange Clearing House.
He was also member of the Board of the LinkUp Markets and of the Federation of the European Securities Exchanges (FESE).

Stavros Hatzakos is working in the Port of Piraeus for the last 31 years and has served in various managerial positions. Since 1993 he has been responsible for the international relationships of the Port.
Stavros Hatzakos is a founding member of MedCruise, the Association representing cruise (Mediterranean Association of Cruise Ports). Having previously served as MedCruise vice-President, in 2011 he was elected President of MedCruise and since 2014 he is the honorary President.
He is also the representative of Piraeus /Greece in the Executive Committee of ESPO (European Sea Ports Organization), since its establishment in 1993. He was elected twice as Chairman of the ESPO Transport Committee and since 2014 he is the Chairman of the “Cruise and Ferry Port Network”.

Mr. Pantelis Lamprou, has been an executive of the Athens Exchange Group (ATHEX Group) for the past seventeen years. He is currently the Director of Strategic Communication and Markets Analysis. At the Group, he has also held the positions of Director of Compliance & Risk Management, Clearing & Risk Management, Business Products Development, Market Operation and Project Manager of various technological and operational projects.
He began his professional career in 1989 in the computer industry, working in development projects at the Computer Technology Institute (CTI, Academic R&D Institute), at InfoQuest as Product Manager and at the Rainbow Group of Companies (Apple Computers) as Business Manager.
He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and of the INSEAD Alumni Association. He sat on the BoD of private and state owned companies, member of the Scientific Committee of Greek Computer Engineers and member of Hellenic Volunteer Managers Center.
Professor of International Economic Law at the Panteion University of Athens, as well as visiting Professor at the Law School of Athens, the University of Piraeus, the Europa Institute of the University of Saarland, and the European Institute of the University of Zürich.
He is teaching international, European and Hellenic monetary and financial law, as well as economic analysis of law, fields in which he has also published extensively, in Greece and internationally. Apart from his academic career, Professor Gortsos, a member of the Athens Bar Association, is since July 2000 the Secretary General of the Hellenic Bank Association.
His most recent books: “Introduction to EMU Law” (in Greek Language), and «The new EU Directive (2014/49/EU) on deposit guarantee schemes: an element of the European Banking Union” were published in 2014 by Nomiki Bibliothiki, Athens, and “Fundamentals of Public International Financial Law” was published in 2012 by the Nomos Verlagsgesellshaft, Baden-Baden.

Georgia Mourla is the Director of Issuer Support Department – MTF of the Hellenic Exchanges Group since May 2011.
Prior to that, she spent over 25 years working in professional services firms in Greece and the UK, reaching the level of Partner in the Management Consulting Services Division at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Partner – Head of Management Consulting services at Planet Ernst & Young in Athens.
Her specialisation is in strategic change and the restructuring of large companies and groups in the private and public sector.
Georgia is a Licensed Chartered accountant in both the UK and Greece (Member of the institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and of the Body of Auditors and Accountants of Greece and holds a Bachelor of Science – Chemistry (upper second, with Honours) from King’s College, London University.
Founder and main shareholder of “KOUMBAS HOLDING S.A.” At present time, is President & CEO of the Board of “KOUMBAS HOLDING S.A.”, as well as President of the Board of “EUROBROKERS INSURANCE BROKERS S.A.” Both companies are listed in the Athens Stock Exchange.
Being a graduate of the Athens College, was born in Athens in 1948 and has studied Chemical Engineering at the Athens National METSOVIO POLYTECHNIC.
He is a founding member of the Hellenic Insurance Brokers Association “HIBA”, where he holds the position of Vice President of the Board for a number of years.

Spiros Kiritsis is member of the Board of HELLENIC AMERICAN SECURITIES S.A. since 2014 and also elected president of the Board of the Association of Members of the Athens Exchanges since last January.
He has been member of the Board of SMEXA since 2011 and he has served as president since May 2012 – January 2014. He is also appointed member of the Board of Athens Stock Exchange Members’ Guarantee Fund.
Since 1997, Spiros has served in several managerial positions in capital markets industry. During 1997 – 2006 he has held the position of Senior Director in Athens Stock Exchange SA, Head of the Market Surveillance Division and Listed Companies Division.
Since 2006 to 2013, Spiros had served as Senior Director of Bank of Cyprus in Greece. In his position he had responsibility for developing bank’s investment products and services to the network customers and personal banking.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Athens University, Department of Economics and an MBA degree from Cardiff University, Wales. He also holds a certification in investment consulting from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission.
Dr Athanasios Kouloridas, is managing Partner at Athens Business Lawyers, Lecturer of Corporate and Capital Markets Law in the Athens University of Economics and Business and legal counsel of Union of Listed Companies (Eneiset).
He is a member of various expert and working groups in his field of expertise. After graduating from the University of Athens School of Law (LL.B, 1998), he obtained an LL.M. in Commercial Law (University of Athens, 1999), an M.Sc. in Law and Accounting (London School of Economics, 2000) and a Ph.D. in corporate finance law (takeovers) (London School of Economics, 2004). He has written various articles on capital markets and investment law, M&A, and company law.

From 1993 to 2006 she worked as an executive in the Group Exports Division and was the Integration Manager for TITAN’s acquisitions in Southeastern Europe. Prior to TITAN, she had worked for Novartis and in the materials trading sector.
She studied Business Administration at the University of Lausanne (HEC), Switzerland and holds a MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
She is fluent in French, English, Spanish and has working knowledge of Italian. She has always been an active member of the Hellenic Insead Alumni Association and a formerly elected vice-president. She is married and has three children.
